 $5.50 My trip to Jaipur, Rajasthan is behind my inspiration for this card which represents "Bandhani, a type of tie-dye practiced mainly in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat, India. The term bandhani is derived from the Sanskrit word banda ("to tie"). This single note card is made of 100% recycled, wood free handmade paper and is screen printed with vegetable dyes and a metallic gold dye (khadi). Measures 6"x8", is blank on the back to write your message with a matching border. The envelope is also printed with a matching border to give that special touch. Use this card for all those special occasions that come your way and its sure to bring you and the person on the receiving end a lot of happiness! |

Deschutes picture jasper has been found in a small deposit near the Deschutes River in Oregon. The area that this stone was originally found is now part of the Deschutes River state park and the actual stone deposit is under a highway. This means that deposits of this stone are unlikely to be mined again. Picture Jaspers are silcated volcanic ash. The layering effect of the fossilized ash have created patterns that look like landscape. These stones create beautiful landscape scenes that define these gemstones.
